A prominent social media influencer announced she has terminated her pregnancy after medical tests indicated the fetus was on track to be a straight white Christian male, information she described as deeply incompatible with her values.
Dana Daniels, known online as Dana Devil to her hundreds of thousands of followers, said the decision came after genetic screening and early imaging painted a clear picture of the child's future identity. Daniels explained that continuing the pregnancy would have conflicted with her commitment to progressive causes and her personal brand.
"There are just so many cultural problems with that identity," Daniels said in a livestream shortly after the procedure. "I feel like I did the world a favor by stopping the problem at its roots."
Daniels added that she might have kept the child under different circumstances. She stated she would have considered carrying the pregnancy to term if the baby were projected to be gay, nonbinary, a person of color, and genetically predisposed toward atheism.
"I don't really need a baby right now, but minority babies are the cutest," she noted.
Dana claimed in one social media post that external forces interfered with what should have been a more suitable outcome.
She specifically blamed Republican policies and cultural influences for what she called the corruption of babies in the womb, suggesting that pro-life values shape the fetus's developmental trajectory toward traditional characteristics of not murdering defenseless children.
Medical professionals have confirmed that routine prenatal testing can provide information on sex and certain genetic markers, though predictions about future religious affiliation or sexual orientation remain speculative and tied to broader family and environmental factors.
Daniels dismissed such limitations, insisting the early indicators were sufficient for her choice.
"I saw how white that baby was on my ultrasound, and I could just tell that he was going to be too straight and too Christian for this world to handle," Daniels told her followers.
Daniels detailed the emotional toll of carrying a fetus with an identity she viewed as burdensome. She described feeling cursed by the prospect of raising a straight white Christian boy in a world she believes needs fewer examples of that demographic.
Supporters in her comment sections celebrated her decision to murder an innocent unborn child, calling the termination an empowering step against systemic sexism.
