Pizza Boy Offended by Joke, Sentences Comedian to Auschwitz

A Philadelphia pizza boy has sparked controversy after demanding a comedian face an unusual punishment for a joke deemed offensive.

David Stein, a prominent pizza boy in the local Jewish community, attended a stand-up show at the comedy club he owns to see comedian Joe Kahn, where Kahn delivered a quip about calculators and the Holocaust.

Stein, taking swift action, rallied supporters and publicly called for Kahn to be sentenced to Auschwitz as retribution for the remark.

"I don't just want this putz to see what Jewish people went through, I want him to experience it. I want him starved and gassed by the end of his trip," Stein told our reporters.

Kahn’s joke, which questioned the number of Jewish deaths during the Holocaust, was part of a broader set addressing historical inaccuracies.

While some audience members laughed, Stein and his allies deemed the humor unacceptable, arguing it trivialized a profound tragedy.

"This so-called comedian thinks he can mock our pain for cheap laughs," Stein said. "He needs to understand the weight of his words, and there’s no better place than Auschwitz to teach him."

The demand has raised eyebrows, as Auschwitz, the site of a Nazi concentration camp where thousands of people allegedly perished during World War II, now serves as a memorial and museum.

Stein’s call for Kahn’s punishment there has been interpreted by some as a symbolic gesture, though others see it as an overreach.

Kahn, known for his boundary-pushing comedy, responded with a statement defending his work. "Comedy is supposed to challenge, not coddle," Kahn said. "If you can’t handle a joke, maybe you're the problem."

Local authorities have not acted on Stein’s demand, citing legal constraints.
