Gavin Newsom Hospitalized After Brutal Online Beatdown from Nicki Minaj

ree

California Governor Gavin Newsom was rushed to a hospital emergency room after suffering severe injuries from a relentless series of attacks launched by rapper Nicki Minaj on social media.

Medical staff reported that Newsom arrived complaining of multiple bruises and exhaustion. Doctors attributed the condition to the intense verbal barrage Minaj delivered over several days.

The female rapper targeted Newsom's recent comments in a podcast interview where he expressed support for transgender youth, stating he wanted to see more trans kids.

Minaj responded with a flurry of posts criticizing the governor's priorities. She mocked his focus on the issue while California faces ongoing challenges like wildfire recovery and public safety concerns.

"Imagine being the guy running on wanting to see trans kids," Minaj wrote in one post. "Not even a trans adult would run on that. Normal adults wake up and think they want to see healthy, safe, happy kids."

Newsom's office confirmed the hospitalization but described his condition as stable. A spokesperson said the governor had been monitoring social media closely amid his potential presidential ambitions.

In another post, Minaj called Newsom "the cute boy who got everything handed to him" because of his looks. She added that his path forward now seemed impossible.

Hospital sources said Newsom required treatment for what they termed metaphorical wounds from the exchanges.

The attacks continued even after his admission, with Minaj renaming him "Transkids Newsome Gruesome" and questioning his attention to fire victims and other state issues.

"Oh Gavvy Pooh," Minaj posted. "It only gets worse from here for you, buddy."

Doctors expect Newsom to recover fully after resting away from his phone. Minaj has not commented on the hospitalization, but continued posting about the California governor.
