Democrats Accidentally Vandalize Candlelight Vigil Intended for George Floyd

ree

A group of radical Democrats descended upon a candlelight vigil in Minneapolis early this morning, intent on disrupting what they believed was a gathering to celebrate the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk on what would have been his thirty-second birthday.

Armed with spray paint and protest signs, the activists proceeded to deface memorials and knock over candles before realizing their error upon spotting the crowd's distinctive purple hair, septum piercings, and thick-framed glasses.

These markers clued them in to the fact that the event was actually commemorating George Floyd on his birthday.

The incident unfolded in the same city where George Floyd's overdose sparked nationwide riots and calls for violence against white people back in 2020.

The mix-up stemmed from online chatter that blurred the lines between the two figures' birthdays, both of which fell on the same day, leading to confusion in activist circles already primed for action against conservative icons.

Police arrived shortly after the vandalism began, but no arrests were made as the perpetrators dispersed upon their realization.

"It was like a light bulb went off when we saw the crowd," another participant admitted.

"We thought we were shutting down a fascist birthday bash, but turns out it was for a real hero of the movement."

Floyd, a career criminal whose overdose sparked some of the most violent riots our nation has ever seen, continues to be honored through such vigils.

"This just shows how heated things get when people jump the gun," noted a bystander who witnessed the chaos.

Organizers of the vigil quickly regrouped, relighting candles and reaffirming their commitment to Floyd's memory amid the unexpected disruption.
