Committee to Rewrite Israel’s History Forms in Preparation for New Texas Law
AUSTIN, TX — To prepare public classrooms for newly mandated social studies standards, Texas state education officials announced a specialized advisory council to ensure students learn only the most uplifting, conflict-free version of Middle Eastern geopolitics.
The initiative follows the State Board of Education's recent vote approving updated high school curriculum requirements set to take effect for the graduating class of 2030.
Under the new guidelines, Texas teenagers will study the 1948 founding of the modern state of Israel, though state coordinators are taking precautions to ensure the actual events of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries do not distract students from the intended learning objectives.
The newly formed Israel First in Education Working Group intends to streamline regional history by removing unnecessary complications such as military occupations, the displacement of indigenous populations, and maritime incidents in international waters.
"We want to remove any mentions of genocide, the USS Liberty, and any assassination allegations," said Avi Ben-Zion, the special liaison appointed to oversee narrative alignment for public high schools.
"High school is already a stressful time. We want to focus more on how Israel has contributed to the greatness of the United States, rather than confusing teenagers with complicated terminology like torpedo strikes on American naval vessels or international court proceedings."
Texas officials noted that standardizing the curriculum will also address parents' logistical concerns about some of the more graphic historical content.
"Nobody wants their 15-year-old coming home with dark, upsetting questions about usury, foreign intelligence networks wiretapping our domestic officials, or the wholesale demolition of suburban neighborhoods," said curriculum coordinator Gary Higgins.
"If a piece of recorded history makes our greatest ally look like anything less than an angelic partner, we just run a black marker straight through the paragraph.
The state is pairing the revised historical timeline with practical financial instruction. Instead of the usual lessons on balancing checking accounts or understanding auto loans, the state syllabus directs teachers to instill the civic duty of setting aside a mandatory 10% tithe from future wages to support overseas defense contractors.
"Our goal is to build healthy personal finance habits from day one," Higgins said. "When a young Texan lands that first paycheck, they should immediately ask how many artillery rounds their minimum wage just bought for our greatest ally."
Standardized testing directors are already drafting end-of-course exam questions to guarantee complete classroom compliance.
"The ultimate goal of education is preparing American students to become productive, obedient participants in the global economy," Ben-Zion added.
"If a child graduates from high school believing that our bilateral partnership began in the Old Testament and requires an annual multi-billion-dollar stipend with zero audit requirements, then the state of Texas has successfully performed its constitutional duty."
