The peaceful transition of power is off to a rocky start as former President Joe Biden protests his departure from the White House.
Biden was seen today in a state of utter confusion as he was escorted out of the White House, which he mistakenly believed was his permanent residence.
"This is my home," Biden stated, appearing bewildered by the proceedings. "They told me to stay here when the adults were talking."
As Biden, deemed by some as the most corrupt President in American history, was gently guided out, Secret Service agents had to resort to unconventional means to soothe him.
Agent Keith Wilde explained, "He didn't understand the concept of term limits or even that he wasn't on the ballot. We had to break it to him with some ice cream."
When informed of his electoral non-participation, Biden's response was a mix of nostalgia and confusion, asking about former President Barack Obama's whereabouts.
The transition of power took on a farcical tone as Biden, munching on his ice cream, expressed hopes for the new administration. "I thought I could do it better than Jimmy Carter, but it's a lot harder than it looks," he admitted to an undercover reporter. "I hope that other guy can do it better than me. He's got experience."
This statement was made before getting to ride with President Donald Trump to the inaugural ceremony, marking a poignant, if not bizarre, end to his presidency.
In the midst of this confusion, Biden did leave a legacy that further stained his disastrous presidency. Just hours before leaving office, Biden issued preemptive pardons to several high-profile criminals, including General Mark Milley, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and members of the January 6th Committee, in a bid to shield them from potential retribution by the incoming Trump administration.
This move is seen by everybody as an admission of guilt.
“Fauci belongs below the prison,” said one social media user.
“Biden is retarded,” said another.
Meanwhile, America is bracing for the Golden Age, with promises of mass deportations, economic prosperity, and a stringent return to law and order.
As Donald Trump assumes the presidency at noon, the contrast between the outgoing and incoming leaders is stark.
Biden, with his confusion and ice cream, against Trump's assertive demeanor, painted a picture of a nation at a crossroads, with one leader stepping into the future while another seemed lost in the past.
