The National Autism Health Science Council (NAHSC) convened an emergency session to discuss the potential removal of Elon Musk from the autism spectrum following his performance of what many perceived as a Nazi salute at President Donald Trump's inauguration.

Musk, who has publicly acknowledged his Asperger's syndrome, has long been recognized as part of the autism spectrum community. However, recent actions at the presidential rally have led some to question his standing within this protected class.

Dr. Dana Grey, chair of the NAHSC, opened the session by stating, "The purpose today is to evaluate if Mr. Musk's behavior aligns with the core understanding of what it means to be on the spectrum."

The discussion centered around whether Musk's salute was a manifestation of his Asperger's or a deliberate pledge to Adolf Hitler's Nazi Party, which was officially disbanded on October 10, 1945.

Critics argue that the gesture might reflect political ideology rather than symptoms of autism. "Autism does not predispose one to fascism or any particular political stance," noted Dr. Grey.

Public response has been varied. Some liberals who make mountains out of molehills claim they have been personally victimized by Musk's actions, with one user on X stating, "Elon Musk's salute to Hitler not only ruined my day... it ruined MY LIFE."

Those who defend Musk suggest that the gesture was purposely misinterpreted to defame Musk, hurt his many business ventures, and pressure him into turning against President Donald.

"Anyone who thinks @elonmusk is a Nazi is retarded," argued one of the more insightful users on X.

The situation took a surprising turn when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a full, but conditional, pardon for Musk, defending him against accusations of performing a Nazi salute.

Netanyahu's statement read, "Elon Musk has been a staunch supporter of Israel and has shown nothing but respect for the Jewish community. His actions at the inauguration were a misunderstanding, not malice."

This pardon has influenced the NAHSC's deliberations. Dr. Samuel Lee, a council member, commented, "Given the support from a figure like Netanyahu, and considering Musk's history of contributions to technology and space exploration, we must reconsider our initial inclination to remove him from the spectrum."

The council, after much debate, decided to maintain Musk's status on the spectrum.

"Removing someone from the spectrum does not align with our mission to support and understand all individuals within our community," concluded Dr. Grey.

The public's reaction to this decision has been mixed, with some praising the council, while others criticize it for what they perceive as political pandering.

"You can't just remove someone from the spectrum because the disagree with your politics," said one psychologist in an interview with The Washington Wick.

As this story develops, the NAHSC plans to release a detailed report on their decision-making process, aiming to clarify their stance and encourage a broader dialogue on autism in the public sphere.
