While this may sound like a conspiracy theory, a recent poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports reveals that nearly a majority of all likely Democratic voters polled favor imprisoning their unvaccinated family, friends, and neighbors.
It’s probably time to admit that the federal government’s response to COVID-19 was more than blown out of proportion. Two years of mask requirements, vaccine mandates, and uncertainty has caused a lot of people to lose faith in the people that represent them. What’s worse, the fear-mongering propaganda produced by the mainstream media and the corrupt political elites in Washington has caused many Americans to turn on each other.
A recent poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports reveals that the majority of likely Democratic voters polled support confining unvaccinated, law-abiding citizens to their homes and imposing fines to force them to comply. Nearly half also support government-sponsored tracking devices and requiring the unvaccinated to be “temporarily” relocated to a designated facility.
Anthony Fauci’s pandemic has drawn the political lines and divided us based on our reactions to federal government mandates. While I can understand how Americans bought into the fear marketed through the mainstream media, it is shocking to see that 29% of likely Democratic voters favor removing parents’ custody of their children until they receive the vaccine.
While destroying an American family over a disagreement on the role of government in a “public health crisis” is probably the most absurd result produced by this poll, I find myself more bothered that 48% of the likely Democratic voters polled favor imposing fines and jail sentences to anyone who publicly questions vaccine efficacy. We are headed in a dark era in our nation when half the country believes people should be imprisoned for their political beliefs, and the other half is too worried about the public image to actually do anything about it.
America is the land of the free, but we seem to forget what freedom entails. Freedom grants us the ability to question our oppressors. Anyone willing to threaten imprisonment for questioning the national narrative is our oppressor. We don’t work for our elected officials; they work for us. With all the information currently available, it’s time they start working towards ending this pandemic and holding those accountable who made poor decisions in leadership.
Anyone ordinary person who lies to Congress, for example, is risking up to five years in prison on perjury charges. However, Anthony Fauci lies to Congress every time they hold a hearing. He was wrong about AIDs in the 1980s, and he has been wrong about COVID-19 since the onset of the pandemic. How is he still the highest paid government official? Why are our elected officials not holding him accountable for perjury?
America is the home of the brave, but, for the past two years, a majority of Americans have been living in fear. The mainstream media’s use of fear propaganda has forced cognitive dissonance at a level unseen in our nation’s history. The political establishment has blurred the lines between what’s right and wrong so much that the tyrants endorse themselves as virtuous.
Now, I know it’s politically incorrect to compare our current situation with the Holocaust, but when 45% of the President’s party support relocating the resistance to “temporary” designated facilities, it’s difficult to not make the comparison. In fact, it’s nearly irresponsible. The Germans didn’t turn on their Jewish neighbors overnight. Adolf Hitler used his ability to speak and manipulate the media to turn his supporters against the Jewish people. Like Fauci, Hitler lied and misled the German public in an effort to control the narrative.
We must continue to speak out against this medical tyranny. We have been lied to, manipulated, and cheated out of the past two years. Regardless, there’s no time like the present to put this pandemic behind us and progress past it. We cannot do this without holding those responsible accountable, however, or we’re only going to see history repeat itself in the next 20 years.
