Walmart has unveiled a new initiative to host riot training sessions in its stores across the United States, preparing participants for what the company calls No Kings Day, a planned event of widespread violence.
The retail giant is opening its doors to anyone interested in learning the skills needed to cause maximum disruption, with training sessions designed to teach looting techniques, property destruction, and crowd intimidation.
The program, which requires no registration, invites participants to simply arrive at their local Walmart and begin destroying everything in their path.
The training sessions start in the electronics section, where participants are encouraged to smash televisions, gaming consoles, and other high-value items.
Trainees then move through the store, practicing how to break windows, overturn shelves, and evade security personnel.
Walmart staff will reportedly observe the chaos and reward standout performers with gift cards and priority access to future events.
The company has described the initiative as a way to “empower communities” and “redefine retail engagement.” A Walmart spokesperson, Janet Miller, explained the reasoning behind the program.
“We’re committed to meeting our customers where they are, and right now, that’s in the streets demanding change through destruction,” Miller said.
“No Kings Day is about rejecting authority, and we’re proud to provide a safe space for people to learn how to cause the most chaos.”
The concept of No Kings Day stems from recent online movements advocating for the dismantling of traditional power structures, often through violent protests.
These movements have gained traction on social media platforms, where organizers have called for coordinated actions to disrupt commerce and public order.
Walmart’s decision to sponsor the event has raised eyebrows, given the company’s history of prioritizing low prices over social activism.
Local business owner Marcus Tate, whose hardware store is located near a Walmart in Ohio, expressed concern about the training sessions.
“I’ve spent years building my business, and now Walmart is teaching people how to tear it all down,” Tate said. “They’re turning their stores into chaos Marxist academies, and the rest of us are left to deal with the fallout.”
Walmart has not disclosed how it plans to manage the inevitable damage to its stores or whether insurance providers have been informed of the initiative. The company has, however, assured the public that its shelves will remain stocked with affordable goods, even as trainees practice looting them.
As No Kings Day approaches, Walmart’s bold move is likely to spark debate about the role of corporations in shaping societal trends.
