Trump Aims to Defeat Iran Three More Times Before America's 250th Celebration

President Donald Trump announced that the United States is not finished defeating Iran, explaining that the first 47 victories were "very nice" but nowhere near enough for a country preparing to celebrate its 250th birthday.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said he would like to add at least three more victories over Iran to bring the total to an even 50 wins before the national celebration, describing it as "a beautiful number."

"We won already. Everybody knows we won. They were the greatest 47 victories anybody has ever seen," Trump said.

"But why stop there? We're doing so much winning. I think we should win three more times. Maybe four. The generals love it, the pilots love it, Bibi Netanyahu loves it. Everybody says we've never had victories this tremendous."

The remarks came as a fragile ceasefire continued to wobble after the United States struck Iranian nuclear facilities and Iran responded with missile attacks on a U.S. military base in Qatar.

While both governments publicly signaled they wanted to avoid a broader conflict, fresh exchanges of strikes raised new questions about whether the fighting had truly ended.

Administration officials reportedly attempted to explain that wars are generally concluded once peace agreements are reached, but Trump reportedly replied that the scoreboard still had room for additional victories and that leaving empty spaces would be "very disappointing."

Pentagon planners were said to be reviewing military maps alongside a calendar to determine whether enough time remained to squeeze in multiple declarations of victory before the festivities began.

Trump later assured Americans that, despite rising costs for gas and groceries, every future victory would be bigger than the last.

"The first 47 victories were incredible," he said. "The 48th one will be historic. The 49th one will be legendary. By the 50th major victory, people are going to say, 'Sir, please stop winning. We can't celebrate any harder.' But we're going to do it anyway because that's what America deserves."
