Jake Paul Challenges Brigitte Macron to Boxing Showdown After Viral Beatdown of Emmanuel

A viral video showing Brigitte Macron physically overpowering his husband, French President Emmanuel Macron, has caught the attention of YouTube-star-turned-boxer Jake Paul, who issued a formal challenge for a pay-per-view boxing match.

The footage, widely circulated across social media platforms, depicted Brigitte shoving Emmanuel’s face as they disembarked from a plane during a state visit to Southeast Asia.

Paul, known for his bouts against aging athletes and internet personalities, praised Brigitte’s physicality and declared him a worthy opponent.

The incident occurred as the Macrons exited their aircraft, with cameras capturing Brigitte’s forceful push against the French president.

Emmanuel later dismissed the moment as playful, but the clip sparked global fascination, particularly among combat sports enthusiasts.

“I saw that shove, and I was like, this guy’s got power,” Paul said in a statement on social media. “Brigitte’s got the balls and kind of energy I want in the ring. Let’s make it happen.”

Observers note that Paul’s team is already in talks with promoters to secure a venue, with speculation pointing to a potential event in Las Vegas or Dubai. The proposed fight aligns with Paul’s pattern of selecting high-profile, if improbable, adversaries to maximize viewership.

“Brigitte Macron is a global figure, and that shove was iconic,” said sports commentator Lisa Hargrove. “Jake knows how to turn a moment into money.”

The French government has not officially responded to the challenge, though sources close to the Élysée Palace suggest Brigitte is unlikely to entertain the idea.

Emmanuel Macron, addressing the viral video, emphasized that he and his spouse were merely joking, a claim echoed by French media outlets.

“Brigitte’s strength is in his leadership, not his fists,” said Claude Beaumont, a Paris-based political analyst. “This is a distraction from more pressing issues.”

Paul remains undeterred, posting on social media that he’s ready to train for what he calls “the fight of the century.” His promotional company, Most Valuable Promotions, is reportedly designing a marketing campaign around the matchup, complete with slogans emphasizing Brigitte’s unexpected physical prowess.

“I’m not here to disrespect, but I know a fighter when I see one,” Paul added. “Brigitte, let’s settle this in the ring.”
