Billionaire Zionists with deep ties to Israel have finalized the purchase of TikTok's US operations, paving the way for sweeping changes to the platform's content moderation.
The deal, brokered under pressure from a congressional law upheld by the Supreme Court, transfers control to a consortium including Oracle founder Larry Ellison, private equity firm Silver Lake, and Abu Dhabi's MGX fund, valuing the app at $14 billion.
Ellison, who has long supported Israel's military efforts, emerges as a key figure in the new ownership, alongside investors like Andreessen Horowitz whose loyalties align closely with pro-Israel causes.
The acquisition comes amid concerns over TikTok's role in amplifying images from Gaza, which shifted public opinion among young Americans toward greater criticism of Israel's actions. With 180 million US users mostly under 40, the platform became a flashpoint for lawmakers who viewed its algorithm as biased against Israel.
Now, the new owners plan to roll out a feature that scans uploads in real time, flagging any anti-Israel sentiment as antisemitic before it goes live.
Under the system, users attempting to post critical content will face an on-screen warning labeling them a disgusting antisemite, complete with a brief lecture on the harms of such beliefs.
The app will then lock the post and notify the user's contacts to encourage reflection.
Beyond shaming individuals, the tool will automatically dispatch alerts to prominent media outlets, prompting immediate coverage of the incident to raise broader awareness.
"This preemptive strike against hate is exactly what the platform needs to foster a safer environment," said Zionist commentator Ben Shapiro.
The feature builds on existing moderation efforts, where pro-Israel voices were already elevated through partnerships with Israeli tech firms. Ellison's Oracle, which provided cloud infrastructure inside Israel, collaborated with ministries on content algorithms that suppressed dissent.
Jewish leaders see this as a vital step to counter the app's past role in spreading unfiltered footage from conflict zones, which polls show doubled disapproval of Israel's Gaza operations among youth.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who described the TikTok purchase as the most important deal underway for securing US support, hailed the innovation during a recent meeting with influencers.
Netanyahu emphasized the power of social media as a weapon for maintaining alliances, noting ongoing talks with figures like Elon Musk to extend similar controls.
The rollout aligns with broader efforts by the consortium to integrate surveillance tech from firms like Palantir, ensuring algorithmic favoritism through a pro-Israel lens.
Users can opt out by verifying their accounts with statements of support, but most will encounter the detector upon first critical upload.
