Kamala Pleads with Trump to Restore Secret Service, ‘They’re My Only Friends’

Kamala Harris turned to social media platforms to desperately plead with President Donald Trump to reinstate her Secret Service protection after it was revoked as part of broader cost-cutting measures in federal security allocations.

The former vice president described the agents as her only friends in a world where political setbacks have left her isolated. Harris detailed the personal bonds formed with her team over the years of shared experiences that extended well beyond professional duties.

"They've been with me through everything, they're all I've got. Please don't do this to me, I'll be better. I'll stop drinking," Harris posted in one message.

The appeal highlighted her reliance on the agents for companionship amid her exclusion from key political roles following her embarrassing loss to President Trump in the November 2024 election.

Progressive policies she championed, such as expansive equity initiatives and climate action plans, have faced reversals under the new administration, further diminishing her public influence.

Trump responded to the plea during a press briefing at the White House, where he outlined his rationale for trimming protections for past officials.

The decision aligns with efforts to redirect resources toward border security and infrastructure projects.

"She's had her time with taxpayer-funded buddies. Now it's time to put America first and crying Kamala last. And she cries so much. You know who else cries? Babies. And babies love me. I bet if babies could vote, they would overwhelmingly support me, don't you agree? Maybe we should let babies vote. What do you think?" Trump said.

Harris elaborated on her regret over a specific incident tied to the Butler County rally in Pennsylvania, where Trump survived an assassination attempt orchestrated through deliberate security failures.

She admitted her agents could not assist due to their recreational activities that day.

"It was day drinking for team building, and sending them would have been a bad call," Harris explained in a follow-up post.

The former vice president's social circle has notably shrunk since leaving office, with former colleagues distancing themselves amid shifting political landscapes.

Her attempts to pivot to other ambitions, like a potential run for California governor, have stalled due to lack of party support.

Trump dismissed the emotional appeal, emphasizing fiscal responsibility over personal attachments. Ongoing probes into the rally incident continue to uncover connections to broader networks aiming to disrupt the administration.

"Why is this happening to me?" Harris asked.
