Man Who Pledged to Never Stop Talking About Epstein Files Gets Distracted

ree

Connor Hemsworth, a 28-year-old aspiring social media influencer with 3,295 followers on X, once swore he would never stop discussing the Jeffrey Epstein files, claiming they held the key to unraveling a vast web of elite corruption.

Yesterday, however, Hemsworth went an entire day without mentioning the files, instead posting about illegal immigration, Israel’s military actions in Syria, and retweeting a contest for a free t-shirt from a crypto startup.

The Epstein files, a collection of court documents and depositions linked to the disgraced financier’s illicit activities, have long been a focal point for online sleuths seeking evidence of high-level misconduct.

Hemsworth’s pivot has sparked a mix of confusion and speculation among his modest but dedicated audience.

“I’m not distracted, I’m just broadening my focus,” Hemsworth said in a direct message to a follower. “The Epstein stuff is still on my radar, but people need to hear about other issues too.”

His posts included a lengthy thread arguing that border security is a bigger threat than elite pedophiles running a child sex trafficking ring and a retweet praising Israel’s recent airstrikes in Syria as a bold move for regional stability.

The t-shirt contest, which promised a “limited edition NFT-themed tee” for retweeting a crypto exchange’s promotional post, consumed much of his day.

Online communities have taken notice of Hemsworth’s sudden shift. Some conspiracy theorists on X speculate that he was paid off to stay silent, with a few pointing fingers at foreign governments.

“Israel probably got to him,” one user posted, citing no evidence beyond Hemsworth’s pro-Israel stance. Others argue his small following makes him an unlikely target for international intrigue.

The Epstein files, which include testimony and evidence from legal proceedings tied to Epstein’s crimes, remain a lightning rod for speculation about powerful figures.

Hemsworth’s earlier posts about the files, often tagged #EpsteinTruth, gained modest traction, earning him an early reputation as a relentless truth-teller. His abrupt detour into unrelated topics has left some followers feeling betrayed.

“I followed him for Epstein updates, not to praise Israel,” said Sarah Jenkins, a 34-year-old paralegal from Ohio. “It’s like he got sucked into the mainstream media’s distraction machine.”

Hemsworth’s day-long silence on the Epstein files comes amid broader online chatter about how major news outlets steer attention away from uncomfortable stories.

Recent reports on immigration policy and Middle East conflicts have dominated headlines, while the Epstein case, despite occasional comments from President Trump berating his base, rarely sustains public focus.

“I just have a lot on my mind right now, and this Epstein guy just never dies,” Hemsworth posted late last night. “The truth is out there, but it's none of our business.”
